Registration Instruction:

Tournament cap is 64 Players. Sign ups will remain open until 64 spots fill up to 3 days before the event, midnight, June 18th.

We will use the WRC Ruleset with optional modifications:

3.2 – Nagashi Mangan

4.1 – Uma (30/10)

We expect good will and fair sportsmanship from all attendees.

Structure:

The tournament will be 5 han-chan of a pure cumulative format, with no top cut. Prizes and rankings will be determined by your total score at the end of all 5 games.

Food:

Lunch, snacks, water, coffee, and tea on both days of the tournament are complimentary with your admission!

If you’re not interested in the venue’s lunch offerings, there are countless places within the shopping center

Lodging:

There is no hotel specifically associated with the venue, but there are many options!
We are 5-7 minutes drive away from Town Center of Virginia Beach where there are plenty of Hotels! We are also right out of an interstate exit for excess accessibility!

Day 1 – Saturday, June 21st

Registration: 9:00 am – 9:45 am
Opening Ceremony: 9:45 am – 10:00 am
Hanchan 1: 10:00 am – 11:30 am
Break: 11:30 am – 11:40 am
Hanchan 2: 11:40 am – 1:10 pm
Lunch Break: 1:10 pm – 2:10 pm
Hanchan 3: 2:10 pm – 3:40 pm
Break: 3:40 pm – 3:50 pm
Hanchan 4: 3:50 pm – 5:20 pm
Break: 5:20 pm – 5:30 pm
Hanchan 5: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
Free Play: 7:00 pm Onward

Refund Policy:

NO REFUNDS!

By submitting payment, we assume you will participate in the tournament. Refunds for withdrawals will only be honored in the case of emergencies (e.g. serious illness, flight cancellation/delays). If you are unsure about what constitutes a valid emergency, please reach out to us.
